  ProTech Games, Street Level Violence 14-04-2024 Hey folks 🙂 Decided to write another one of my awe-inspiring blog posts....or despair invoking, I'll let you decide 🙂 This weeks post takes me down to ProTech in Stockton-on-Tees for Street Level Violence. I know what you're thinking; "isn't that just a standard day for Stockton?" Well, it isn't! It's a lovely place 😉 This event has been named so, by the stellar TO that is Anthony Poole, because there's an in house restriction of only 4 threat characters or lower; so no Hulk, CGR, Malekith, etc etc. This does have the unfortunate side effects of essentially ruling out factions like A-Force, Sentinels, Inhumans etc who all have 5+ threat leaders, but I feel for a one off event it's acceptable.   MCP in 2023, A Year in Review. Hey folks :) Thought I would  resurrect this old thing :) Been over 2 years since I last posted on this, mainly as the Midlife Crisis Protocol channel took off; in views and time required for editing and posting. So I guess this blog kind of fell redundant, til now. I did actually mean to post up in 2022 but between work and life and everything else I forgot, and when I got round to it it was far past a reasonable time to post a review of 2022.  SO....where are we? Well I'd have referred back to 2021 to remind me how to put a format to all of this, but it turns out Blogger only keeps posts for about 18 months, so this post is going to be a combination of planned structure and actual winging it :) I will try and break it down into a few subsections for easier reading :) Midlife Crisis Protocol.  A Little Update! Hey folks :) A little update post for this one. Now my Facebook ban is over I can get back to posting stuff on the blog. Without being able to post updates on Facebook its difficult to advertise new updates here, unlike on the Midlife Crisis Protocol channel where we seem to get good views and responses without Facebook advertisements. So, I was banned for 30 days on Facebook, but it didn't stop me making content in the form of videos. Ill link the videos below that I made during the ban period for those that don't sub or follow the YouTube Channel.   A Little Update :) Hey folks :) Just a little post to say all is well :) I havent updated this blog much in the last few weeks as I have a facebook ban that I still have 12 days left to serve. I called someone who was being an a**hole out on being the aforementioned word and they reported me for bullying, so I got banned sadly.  It makes it harder to promote the blog, so in the meantime I have been editing and uploading videos to the youtube channel which you can find here  Midlife Crisis Protocol I will start adding written stuff to here as soon as I am free again :) Take care folks :)

  Battle Report Upload! Avengers v Criminal Syndicate 22-10-21 Hey folks! So as I said before, back into a pattern of uploading videos and its not taking a lot less time to upload and edit, so thats good news for my social life :) This game we ended up with Avengers and Criminal Syndicate again, I think, purely based on the Crisis' that came up. Sam v Fisk again. We also used Iron Man with his Helios laser card, poor Kraven haha. As always, video is embedded below or you can find it  here. Enjoy :)

 Avengers vs Criminal Syndicate 15-10-21 Hey folks :) Finally into a rhythm with recording and editing videos, so our newest video from Midlife Crisis Protocol is now live. This weeks report is Avengers v Criminal Syndicate, Sam v Fisk. In this game we continue using the upcoming scenario selection rules, we also try out Iron Man with his new changes and also sneak in some Baron Mordo action to top it all off :) The video, as always, will be imbedded below, but if you want to go to YouTube to watch it the link can be found  here.

Second Upload of this month! Hey folks :) So we managed to make, record and edit another video already this month. Starting to get back to a form of schedule now. I think ideally we want to be putting out a video every 2 weeks. That seems realistically possible given our current schedules :) This video is Web Warriors v Spider-Foes using some of the more recent models, and incorporating some of the upcoming rules changes set for the game.  Below the video will be embedded into the page, and the link to the video is also  here  if you'd rather watch it through YouTube :)
