 Welcome back folks :)

Another written report today, whilst we finalise some stuff for the channel we are making. These written ones seem popular, I am glad people enjoy them :)

Inhumans:

Web Warriors:

Objectives: Demons Downtown! Has Our Comeuppance Come Due? and Struggle for the Cube Continues

Game Prep

For this game report I will be playing vs my friend Alasdair instead of Adam, so will be something different in regards to tactics and playstyle, looking forward to it :)

I won priority and chose Extractions and Alistair Secures and I decided on 19 threat.

I deploy first with Toad at the top followed by Lockjaw, Meduda, Scarlet Witch in the bus stop and Black Bolt behind the tree. Alistair counter deploys Miles at the top, Peter, Venom, Gwen and finally Ghost Rider at the bottom.

Round 1:

Black Bolt gets the game going, keeping it nice and breezy by walking forwards to pick up the cube fragment, then walking towards the middle of the board.
Ghost Rider rolls forward and attacks Bolt for 1 damage.
Lockjaw gains 3 power from being near an ally, then teleports Toad and Scarlet Witch using both of his actions.
Peter double walks forward and picks up the cube fragment.
Medusa double walks to the middle portal and picks up the cube fragment there.
Venom double walks and picks up a cube fragment, keeping the temp of the previous two activations going.
Toad attacks Peter for 1 damage and pushes him away, he then walks and uses the Inhuman leadership ability to transfer 1 power to Black Bolt.
Miles double walks to the portal at Alistair's board edge.
Scarlet Witch double attacks Ghost Rider for 6 damage, applying Poison, Hex, Bleed and Incinerate.
Gwen walks and attacks Black Bolt for 1 damage, using medpack to heal Ghost Rider to a more safer feeling health.

Turn ends 4-4

Round 2:

During the power phase Black Bolt, Peter, Venom, Medusa and Ghost Rider all take 1 damage from their cube fragments.
Toad, Miles, Black Bolt and Medusa all get incinerated from the nearby demon portals.

Black Bolt decides to go first, being in a precariously wounded position. He uses Master Punch to attack and daze Ghost Rider, dropping his cube fragment and placing beside him. He then attacks Miles but only causes 1 damage.
Gwen moves and picks up the cube fragment then moves away to safety.
Lockjaw moves forward and teleports Scarlet Witch further up the board. He then uses the Inhuman leadership to transfer 1 power to Medusa.
Miles attacks Black Bolt twice and Dazes him, forcing him to drop his cube fragment which the Web Warrior leader quickly collects.
Scarlet Witch attacks and dazes Gwen, walking over and picking up her dropped cube fragment.
Venom walks and attacks Medusa for 0 damage, but does apply Bleed to the Inhuman Queen.
Medusa walks and attacks Miles for 3 damage and pulls him in. She flurry attacks him again which Venom uses lethal protector to deflect to himself. The flurry attack causes 0 damage to the symbiote beater. She then uses her throw to launch Venom away.
Peter walks and throws a car at Toad, which the vulnerable mutant uses Brace for Impact to avoid taking damage.
Toad attacks Peter for 0 damage. He then walks forward and uses the Inhuman Leadership to transfer 1 power to Medusa.

Turn ends 8 - 8

Round 3:

During the power phase Medusa, Scarlet Witch, Venom, Peter, and Miles take 1 damage from their cubes. The damage dazes Miles.
Lockjaw is incinerated from the nearby demon portal.

Alasdair takes priority for this turn and activates Ghost Rider who subsequently attacks Black Bolt for 1 damage. He follows up by attacking Scarlet Witch and causing 3 damage. He then uses hell on wheels to move and pick up the cube fragment that Miles dropped.
I decide to play Bitter Rivals on Ghost Rider and disarm on Gwen. Scarlet Witch then activates and uses medpack to heal 3 damage. She attacks Gwen twice and causes 4 damage, then throws a nearby car at the elusive web warrior, which Gwen uses brace to avoid.
Gwen pulls Scarlet Witch S. She then pulls Black Bolt S. The web warrior then plays All Webbed Up to slow both Witch and Bolt. Gwen then attacks Scarlet Witch twice and cause 3 damage to the daughter of Magneto.
Medusa attacks and flurries Venom for 2 damage and pushes him away. She then attacks and flurries Ghost Rider for 5 damage. Hoping for the best she throws the nearby sign at the Rider, but he dodges all the damage from the incoming terrain.
Venom moves, attacks and dazes Medusa. He then picks up her dropped cube fragment.
Toad attacks and KOs Ghost Rider, picking up his dropped cube. He then attacks Peter for 1 damage and hops away.
Peter decides to double move away behind the building to safety.
Black Bolt double walks to the portal at Alistairs side of the board.
Lockjaw teleports Toad away, then clears incinerate on himself.

Turn ends 13 - 11 to me.

Round 4:

Peter, Toad and Scarlet Witch take 1 damage from their cube fragments, Venom takes 2 damage.
Peter gets dazed due to the damage.
Black Bolt, Lockjaw get incinerated.

Gwen attacks and dazes Scarlet Witch then picks up her dropped cube fragment. She then pulls Black Bolt off the objective and moves away.
Black Bolt moves and attacks Venom for 1 damage. Venom uses So Many Snacks and We are Venom to do 1 damage to the Inhuman King.
Venom double attacks Black Bolt to do  3 damage.
Medusa throws at car at Miles to cause 2 damage. She then attacks him 3 times and KOs the Web Warrior leader. She then throws a cheeky flurry attack at Venom which does him 0 damage. The symbiote responses with a So Many Snacks to cause 3 damage.
Lockjaw gains 3 power but stays where he is.
Toad does similar to Lockjaw.

Game ends 17 - 14 to me.

Close game, very close til the last turn really. Scarlet Witch is just a monster wherever she is played :D Black Bolt was once again very meh. Still not sold on the Inhuman leader, but his two Inhuman companions once again did very well. Looking forward to playing against Alistair again in the future :)
